James R. Swanger
For over 35 years, Jim Swanger has represented and defended the interests of employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including practice before the National Labor Relations Board, union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, handling strike and picketing matters, and labor arbitration. Mr. Swanger defends employers against claims of employment discrimination and wrongful discharge, and regularly counsels the firm’s clients with respect to employment policies such as the ADA and the FMLA, contracts, wage and hour issues, employee handbooks, negotiated separations, non-competition/trade secrets, investigations of employee misconduct, drug testing, OSHA, and the labor and employment aspects of acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
Mr. Swanger has written and spoken frequently on a wide range of labor and employment issues. Members of the Bar have selected Mr. Swanger for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of labor and employment law.
