Danielle M. Shelton

Danielle Shelton is Of Counsel to Belin McCormick, practicing primarily in the areas of complex commercial litigation, appeals, and labor and employment law.  She has handled cases involving a wide variety of issues, including employment discrimination, employment contracts, commercial contracts, fraud, unfair trade practices, and breach of contract.  Until 2003, she was a shareholder of the firm. 

Since 2003, Ms. Shelton has taught full-time and is a Professor of Law at the Drake University Law School.  She serves on the law school's faculty technology committee. 

Prior to joining Belin McCormick as an associate in 1996, Ms. Shelton served as a Law Clerk to Judge Ed Carnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  While in law school, she was a summer associate at both Sidley Austin LLP and Winston & Strawn LLP in their Chicago offices.
